I like these quotes/passages. Some from me, some from you. Some funny, some not. Enjoy:
you even sound wishy washy about your blog in your first blog. hoping you take a stand occasionally (so we can really shoot you down, i mean discuss what you say)

and cat charity... it's just one of those things that makes me say, "who honestly said that out loud and thought, 'yeah, this is a good idea!'". garbage.
-David Groendyk, on "Star Wars Bowling"
If you haven't noticed, I really like my post, "Birthday Party," and would like to quote it all, so here's a link. The comments are also good.
I would say there is also a general respect we should have for people, otherwise known as basic human decency. It's amazing how many people don't even care about people around them. Don't do that, it makes you look like a jerk. Seriously, it really isn't that hard to be a halfway decent person, but a lot of people tend to have a problem with it.
-From "Respect"
Here's an ingrediant to respect (and love and justice and compassion): dignity. Ya'll got it, it just demands to be recognized and upheld.

Bottom line:
People screw up.
You've screwed up.
Don't be a jerk to people that screw up.
-From "Oops... I didn't think that would happen..."
Courage is resistance to fear--not absence of fear.
-Mark Twain, as seen in "Nothing to Fear?"
Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something.
-Frederick Smith, as seen in "Nothing to Fear?"
I thought the constructive thing to do when meeting the angry bear would be to get into the fetal position and try to think of that "very specific, very unlikely circumstance" in which you could kill him with your flip-flop. Way to hold true to your fear of absolutes- good post, good quotes.

I've never walked out of a meaningless movie thinking all movies are meaningless. I only thought the movie I walked out on was meaningless. I wonder, if when people say life is meaningless, what they really mean is their lives are meaningless. I wonder if they've chosen to believe their whole existence is unremarkable, and are projecting their dreary life on the rest of us.
-Donald Miller, A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, used in "Meaning
